Urvashi Sadhana for Kaya Kalpa and Amrit Tatva Prapti will be practiced during the Boudh Tantra and Brahma Tantra Yukta Tara Tarini Chandra Grahan Holika Sadhana Shivir, scheduled for 2nd and 3rd March 2026 at Hotel Lakshmipriya, Purushottampur, Brahmapur, District Ganjam, Odisha.
In this sadhana, the practitioner wears pure white clothes, applies white sandalwood on the forehead, and uses fragrant perfume. An idol or image of Urvashi is placed on a silver plate or white silk cloth along with a tantric coconut. A Urvashi Yantra is drawn on bhojpatra using sandalwood and incense of guggul is offered.
The practitioner chants the prescribed mantra 8000 times in one day across the three sandhya periods. After completing the mantra japa, the practitioner rests alone at night. It is stated that Urvashi may appear and grant blessings. Almond milk or fragrant milk is offered before the image and consumed after reciting the mantra.
If the sadhana does not become successful in one attempt, it may be repeated up to three times. The Urvashi idol and tantric coconut should be preserved safely in the sleeping chamber for three years. It is also mentioned that women performing this sadhana may obtain beauty and rejuvenation benefits.
